Within the Erasmus Plus program, the cooperation agreement between the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje and the University of Valencia provides exchange programs for students and academic staff. The University of Valencia has existed for more than five centuries and is on the top two hundred best universities globally, with over 60,000 students and over 3,500 professors.

From February 26, 2018, to March 2, 2018, the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of UTMS, prof. Dr. Zoran Ivanovski held lectures on master studies in the course Corporate Finance, Assoc. Dr. Ljupka Naumovska and ass. Mila Gorgievska, MA, held lectures on the course Integrated Marketing Communications to second-year undergraduate students. During the stay, the representatives of UTMS led by the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, prof. Dr. Zoran Ivanovski had meetings with the Dean of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Valencia, prof. Dr. Jose Manuel Pastor and the Vice Dean for International Cooperation prof. Dr. Amparo Pons, where they discussed the work plan and future activities for the continuation of cooperation to expand the cooperation agreement, which will provide more mobility for students from both institutions and professors. Also, the University of Valencia has shown great interest in being a co-organizer of the ICON BEST 2018 conference, which will be held in Skopje on October 15, 2018.
