second cycle degree (one year, 60 ECTS): specialist in Software Engineering (10 students)
second cycle degree (one-year, 4+1 and two-year, 3+2): Master of Software Engineering (30 students)
The studies from the first and second cycle are from the scientific research areas and fields:
1 natural-mathematical sciences, field 110 computer science, 2 technical-technological sciences, field 212 computer information technology , 5 social sciences, field 503 economic sciences, 506 organizational sciences and management (management) and 514 tourism and catering from the Classification of scientific- the research areas, fields and areas according to the International Frascati Classification.
I. Number of students
At the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, in the first year of the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies, for the above curicula, in the academic year 2022/2023, a total of 125 students will be enrolled, and 105 students in the second cycle of studies.
II. Enrollment conditions and criteria
a) On the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies
II.a.1. A condition for enrolling in the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies is passing the state matriculation or international matriculation, i.e. completing a four-year secondary education according to the regulations that were valid before the introduction of the state matriculation. In the academic year 2022/2023, in the first cycle of academic studies, a person who obtained a diploma for completed secondary education over a period of four years in the academic year 2019/2020 can be enrolled, in accordance with the Decree with legal force on the application of the Law on Secondary Education during a state of emergency. A requirement for enrolling in the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies is a completed four-year secondary education, in secondary schools verified by an act of the Ministry of Education and Science of RNM.
Domestic citizens who completed secondary education abroad, as well as foreign citizens, have the right to enroll in the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies, under the same conditions as domestic citizens.
II.a.2. Candidates who have completed higher or higher education at related faculties and higher schools can enroll in the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies at the University. These candidates are enrolled outside the quota, up to 20% of the total number of full-time students at the University determined in this Competition.
II.a.3. Candidates are enrolled as full-time, part-time or distance learning students, with self-financing of the studies, in an amount determined by the decision of the Rector's Office of the University.
II.a.4. Candidates are enrolled without taking an entrance exam.
II.a.5. The basic criterion for the selection and ranking of candidates for enrollment in the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies, in addition to the success achieved in secondary education, is the state matriculation, i.e. the international matriculation or completed four-year secondary education according to the regulations that were in force before the introduction of the state matriculation, and for persons who have completed secondary education in the school year 2006/2007 and earlier is the success achieved in secondary education. The basic criterion for the selection and ranking of candidates for enrollment in the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies for persons who will matriculate in the academic year 2019/2020 is the success achieved in secondary education. The evaluation of the candidates' success is expressed in points. Candidates can earn a maximum of 100 points, naFor persons who will complete a four-year secondary education in the academic year 2019/2020, as well as candidates who have completed a four-year secondary education according to the regulations that were valid before the introduction of the state matriculation exam and for persons who completed secondary education in the academic year 2006/2007 and earlier, the general success achieved in all subjects participates with 100%.
For the rest of the candidates, who must take the matriculation exam, the assessment of success is done in the following way:
The overall success achieved in all subjects accounts for 60%,
The success of the state matriculation exam, that is, the school matriculation exam or the final exam and the result of the external verification of the achievement of the student's success participates with 40%.
II.a.6. The evaluation of success from secondary education and matriculation is carried out according to established criteria in the Regulations on the conditions and criteria for enrollment in the first cycle of university undergraduate studies at the University of Tourism Management in Skopje.
b) On the second cycle of academic master's studies
II.b.1. Candidates (domestic and foreign citizens) who meet the following general conditions have the right to apply for enrollment in the second cycle (master's) studies:
To have completed the first cycle of university studies, lasting four years, at accredited universities, i.e. faculties in the country or abroad and have won 240 ECTS;
To have completed the first cycle of university studies, lasting four years at appropriate or related undergraduate studies, at accredited universities, i.e. faculties in the country or abroad and have won 240 ECTS.
II.b.2. Candidates are enrolled as full-time, part-time or distance learning students with self-financing of the study amount determined by the decision of the Rector's Office of the University.
III. Application and enrollment deadlines
a) First cycle of academic undergraduate studies
The first registration period lasts from 05/04/2022 to 09/09/2022. The list of enrolled students will be announced on September 12, 2022.
The second registration period lasts from September 13, 2022 to September 29, 2022. The list of enrolled students will be announced on September 30, 2022.
b) Second cycle of academic master's studies
The registration of the candidates will be done from the announcement of the competition until 11.11.2022. The publication of the results for admitted candidates on 14.11.2022.
If the number of students prescribed in this Competition is not filled within the above-determined deadline, the University will announce additional enrollment deadlines, about which interested candidates will be informed in time.
IV. Place of performance of the curriculum
The study programs of the first and second cycle of studies will be conducted at the headquarters of the University on Blvd. 99, Skopje.
V. Tuition fees
a) First cycle of undergraduate academic studies
The amount of tuition for the first cycle of studies is MKD 61,500 per semester.
b) Second cycle of academic master's studies
The tuition fee for the second cycle of studies is 46,125 denars per semester.
The University reserves the right to award scholarships for enrollment in all study programs in accordance with the general acts of the University.
VI. Registration and registration documents
When applying for enrollment, candidates submit the following documents:
a) for enrollment in first cycle (undergraduate) studies:
1. registration form (received at the University);
2. original certificates from all school years (I, II, III, IV year);
3. state matriculation or international matriculation or completed four-year secondary education for persons who matriculated in the 2019/2020 academic year as well as those who matriculated according to the regulations that were valid before the introduction of the state matriculation;
4. birth certificate (for domestic citizens) and
5. proof of citizenship (certificate or decision) for domestic citizens, i.e. notarized copy of passport for foreign citizens.
b) for enrollment in the second cycle (master's) studies:
1. registration form (received at the University);
2. diploma, supplement to diploma or certificate for passed exams, as well as a document for knowledge of one of the world's languages;
3. birth certificate (for domestic citizens) and
4. proof of citizenship (certificate or decision) for domestic citizens, i.e. notarized copy of passport for foreign citizens.
Candidates applying for enrollment as part-time students, in addition to the above-mentioned documents, also submit an employment contract or a medical certificate.
Domestic or foreign citizens who have completed their education abroad should perform nostrification of the documents for acquired secondary or higher education in the Ministry of Education and Science of the RSM or submit proof that they have submitted documents for nostrification.
During enrollment, accepted candidates submit:
1. two photos (3x4 cm);
2. proof of paid funds for study.
Registration can also be done electronically.
The application documents are submitted in the premises of the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, with its headquarters at boulevard "Partizanski odshi" number 99, 1.000 Skopje, i.e. in the buildings of the dispersed offices of the University.
