Within the framework of the Erasmus + program of the European Union for exchange of academic and administrative staff in which the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje is active participant from 22nd to 26th October, 2018, UTMS hosted four renowned professors from Faculty of Geography, Tourism and Spatial Planning at Oradea University in Romania.
Prof. Korina Tatar PhD, Prof. Ribanka Riba PhD, Prof. Stasak Marku PhD, Assoc. Maria Gosner PhD, during the week-long stay held interactive lectures for students at the Faculty of Tourism on the most up-to-date topics in the area concerned and invited students to choose the Oradea University for their Erasmus destination.
During the visit and the meetings with the responsible persons from the university, both sides emphasized their efforts to intensify the cooperation in the realization of the mobility of students, teaching and administrative staff and participation in joint scientific research projects.
Erasmus + is a program of the European Union and aims to improve the skills and employability of students, but also to influence the modernization of education, training and work with young people. The program is designed to support the efforts of the program countries for making more efficient use of human and social capital in Europe, affirming the principle of lifelong learning by supporting the integration of formal and informal education of young people.
The University of Tourism and Management in Skopje is a participant in this renowned program of the European Union and so far has realized numerous mobility of students and teaching staff in prominent higher education institutions from Europe.
