Students from the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, led by Ass. Andrea Mackic, MA and Tatjana Janeva, MA, on 08.11.2019 paid a one-day visit to the Tourism Fair "PHILOXENIA 2019" held every year in Thessaloniki.
The visit of the fair was aimed at increasing the theoretical knowledge of the students with practical experience.
The realization of the teaching-scientific practicum was through direct contacts with exhibitors where the students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the rich tourist offer and with the tourist trends in the world tourist destinations.
The International Fair allowed students to learn about the most modern marketing interactive approaches to the global tourism market, the way of organizing, setting up and branding stands and organizing events that are realized to attract visitors.
Within the teaching-scientific practicum students from UTMS visited the Casino Flamingo Hotel - Gevgelija, where the hotel management team was introduced to the innovative models of strategic and operational management of hotel resources.
