A delegation from UTMS, composed of Prof. Sashko Gramatnikovski, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, Prof. Dalborka Blazeska, PhD, dean of the Faculty of International Marketing Management, Prof. Natasa Ristovska, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Entrepreneurial Business, Ass. Gordana Serafimovic MSc, Ass. Andreja Mackic, MSc and Ass. Apostolovski, MSc visited the 39th international tourism fair in Madrid FITUR 2019. At the fair, there were 886 stands and 10487 companies from 165 countries and regions in the world, represented by the most modern branded stands, applying interactive marketing approaches, organizing promotional events, in order to attract more international and domestic visitors.
The delegation held several informal meetings and talks with representatives of the fair exhibitors where it was discussed on topics related to national branding, representations of nations and cultures, as well as introduction to innovations in tourism.
The University of Tourism and Management in Skopje with its representatives constantly participates in the international fairs, and this is another confirmation that it follows the modern trends and applies them in its work.
