Delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia led by N. E. Sri Astari Rasjid paid a working visit to the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, Sasko Gramatnikovski, prof. Dr. Zoran Ivanovski, Secretary General of the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, prof. Prof. Dr. Jana Kukeska and Assoc. Dr. Valentina Angjelkoska. At the meeting they discussed deepening of cooperation in the field of culture, education and tourism with the Republic of Indonesia. During the meeting, they emphasized the joint opportunities for realization of projects that will strengthen the cooperation.
One of those projects is to mark World Tourism Day, which will be enriched with content and landmarks that will reflect the original Indonesian culture and tourism potentials that are recognized worldwide. Also of interest was the possibility of networking UTMS with universities from the Republic of Indonesia which, like UTMS, have a TEDQUAL quality diploma and are affiliated members of the World Tourism Organization. For the purpose of realizing the aforementioned efforts to intensify mutual cooperation, a visit of a delegation from UTMS to the Republic of Indonesia was arranged on the sidelines of the meeting.
