The University of Tourism and Management in Skopje is a higher education institution that constantly promotes and affirms the latest academic and business practices in the function of a high level of student competence. For this purpose, guest lecturers were experts from the International Youth Fellowship from South Korea who gave a lecture to students and staff on the topic: Mind Education. The lecture began with the conclusion that knowledge-based education can not change the hearts of the young people because they do not know enough for the world of the heart, which is a big obstacle in solving the problems. Therefore, the recommendation was not that the experts were that for success in life and career it is not enough to learn and know mathematics and other sciences, but from small ones it should set as high priority the learning how to discipline the heart, or to learn the difference between isolation and communication in humans. Self-discipline contributes to controlling the emotions and desires of a person and leads to a balance between the mind and the heart. It is a learning that promotes the principles of power, the connection of mind and emotions, the management of conflicts, the creation of personal happiness, as well as the transformation of the problem into the solution, the failure to succeed.
During the lecture performances were performed involving the students in order to demonstrate the application of effective self-discipline learning techniques that contribute to achieving success in life and careers. The focus of the lecture was on the development of thinking abilities for learning in depth that provides a balance of logic, or reason and emotions, and affects economic prosperity, coping with the global challenges that reduce the ability of people to think, create a world of happiness and success.
