In the presence of academic staff, ministers, mayors, representatives of the business community and the media, a glamorous graduation ceremony was held at the National Opera and Ballet to award diplomas to the seventeenth generation of graduates and the fifteenth generation of masters of the University of Skopje.

In the spirit of inspiration and support, the Rector of the University of Skopje, Prof. Dr. Ace Milenkovski, encouraged the graduates and masters of the University of Skopje to find time for the many important aspects of life – work, thinking, playing, reading, love and joy. In his speech, he told them that the family is the homeland of love – just such a large family is the University of Skopje, with the graduates, masters, their parents and all the guests present.

"Our University is a beacon of hope, and hope is rooted in the solutions we create every day. Our University has the expertise to more effectively implement the knowledge that underpins your skills and competencies, and we as academic staff must ensure that our education is relevant and that we can meet the needs of our Macedonian society. My dear graduates and masters, together with you we will make our homeland a better place to live," said Rector Milenkovski.

He especially thanked his colleagues and friends who selflessly contribute to the development of science, higher education and the economy. The University of Skopje also awarded recognition to prominent scientists and intellectuals Prof. PhD. Antonio Carles Ramirez and M.A. Marjan Gjorchev, for their contribution to the development of higher education and the economy.

The ceremonial promotion started with the ballet "Simply the best" choreographed by Olga Pango, whose performance through music and dance captured all the important moments in the education of a person.At the solemn promotion in MOB, the students of the generation were also announced.

The best graduates and masters thanked the academic staff, their dedication and professionalism. The University of Skopje, which is a brand in higher education, creates personnel who are already established in managerial positions in renowned companies.
