Based on the received accreditation and in accordance with the criteria provided by the Regulations and Proposals for organizing and realizing competitions in geography, the Association of Geography Professors of Macedonia "PROF. PhD. LJUBE MILENKOVSKI" - Skopje, in cooperation with the UTMS Institute of National Geography, successfully realized the competitions at the municipal, regional and state level.

On 29/05/2024, starting at 12:00 in a crowded amphitheater at the University of Skopje, diplomas, commendations, certificates and recognitions were awarded to all participants of the state competition in geography.In addition to the diplomas, the students and mentors who won the first three places were also provided with appropriate prizes for the 1st place laptop, for the 2nd place mobile phone and for the 3rd place tablet.

The winners of the awards from the 7th grade are: the student Stefan Prpev from "Panko Brashnarov" OOU - Veles, who won 1st (first) place under the mentorship of teacher Kosta Shupevski. The 2nd (second) place went to the student Milijana Nikolova from "Vera Jocic" OOU - Gazi Baba, Skopje" with the mentor Dragan Dimitrovski, while the 3rd (third) place was won by the student Ognen Aqimoski from OOU "Mustafa Kemal Ataturk" - Gostivar under the mentorship of the teacher Darko Onosimoski.

In the category of students from the 8th grade, the first places and well-deserved prizes went to the students: Stefanija Dimovska from OOU "Todor Angelevski" - Bitola with mentor Gordana Bogoevska, Samir Elmazi from OOU "Naim Frasheri" - Students with mentor Tela Yusufi and student Pavel Ivanovski from OOU "Metodia Mitevski Brico" - Lozovo under the mentorship of teacher Marina Donevska.The winners of the first three places and the prizes in the 9th grade category are: student Lukian Lazarov from OOU "Kocho Racin" - Skopje with mentor Marina Grozdanovska, Iva Ivanovska from OOU "Jan Amos Komenski" - Skopje with mentor Suzana Jakimovska and Anastasia Andova from OOU " St. Kliment Ohridski" - Makedonski Brod under the mentorship of Goran Gjuroski, Sergej Dimovski from OOU "Kire Gavriloski - Jane" - Prilep with mentor Milan Jakovoski and Damjan Mileski from OOU "Dimitar Pop Berovski" - Gjorche Petrov under the mentorship of teacher Vera Angelovska.

The president of the association prof. In his welcoming speech, prof PhD. Ace Milenkovski promised them the opportunity to receive a scholarship to study at one of the faculties of UTMS after finishing high school.Of course, one of the conditions is excellent success and continuous high results in the geography subject.

This was a motive plus and incentive for each participant individually, and joy and delight from the parents.Students who scored over 85 points at the state competition were awarded Certificates of Participation and won 1, 2 and 3 awards for achieving high results, while all the others received a Certificate of Participation in a state competition.

All Elementary Schools were awarded Certificates of Participation, while several members and regional coordinators of the association received Certificates of Special Contribution in the successful organization of the competitions.

Diplomas and prizes were awarded to the first-placed students by the president of the association, prof. PhD Ace Milenkovski. The other certificates were awarded by the vice-president prof. PhD. Dejan Nakovski.

The event was sponsored by the "Prof. Dr. Ljube Milenkovski" Fund, which, as part of its socially responsible activities, often appears as a patron of events of this type.From a professional point of view, and in the function of improving the competences of the educational staff from all structures of the educational institutions in the Republic of North Macedonia and improving the teaching of geography at all levels, as before, this time the competitions were also supported by UTMS The Institute of National Geography.

The general impression is that the geography competitions, which were organized for the fourth time by our association, achieved the set goals and overcame all challenges.We remain committed to our path, strongly confident that we will succeed in further improving the quality of competitions by geography at all levels of competition.
