High delegation led by the Rector of the University of Skopje, prof. PhD. Ace Milenkovski paid a two-day visit to Krushevo on the occasion of the great Macedonian holiday Ilinden.

The delegation laid fresh flowers on the grave of Velo Markov, Pitu Guli, on the "Crypt" monument, on Mechkin Kamen, in the locality of Sliva.

The visit of the delegation was on the occasion of the commemoration of 120 years of the Republic of Krushevo and 79 years of the First Session of ASNOM!

The celebration of the first Ilinden is inevitably the celebration of the second and third Macedonian Ilinden, because Ilinden is not only the Ilinden Uprising of 1903. Ilinden is also the state-making ASNOM from 1944 and the independent and sovereign Republic of Macedonia from 1991.

Historically speaking, they forbade us or forcibly imposed the celebration of an unrecognizable Ilinden for us. But the Macedonian people are not naive and know that the water is the cleanest at the source. Ilinden is the source of Macedonian freedom.
