Today in the amphitheater of the University of Tourism and Management, the rector prof. Dr. Ace Milenkovski addressed the scholars from all over Macedonia who got the opportunity to study at the University thanks to the "Prof. Dr. Ljube Milenkovski".

The scholarships were awarded transparently by the University through 25 municipalities across the country. Out of a total of 220 scholarships awarded, 172 scholarship students attended today's meeting with the rector.

At the meeting, the rector told the students that being rich means having friends.

"Here at the University we are all friends and that is why we are rich. However, our primary role is to transfer our knowledge to you and to develop your skills and competences", emphasized Rector Milenkovski.

He presented the employees of the University, the academic and administrative staff, as well as the methodology applied by the University, which guarantees measurability of knowledge according to the European credit-transfer system.

Thanking them for their presence and attention, he wished the new colleagues much success in their studies.

The scholarship holders themselves addressed the meeting. They expressed their gratitude to the rector, his team and their professors for the support they received and pledged to justify their trust through hard work and perseverance in their studies.

"I'll be honest, in my 39 years, despite my strong will and rich work experience in this field, I haven't had the opportunity to study until now. As a constantly busy wife and mother of four, and a full-time perfumery manager, I could only dream or wait for my luck to smile. Finally luck smiled at me and my dreams came true. I thank you from the bottom of my heart!", student Mitrah Emine, a scholarship holder from Butel Municipality, said at the meeting.
