On February 02, 2020, at the National Opera and Ballet in Skopje, by the highest academic standards, the eleventh generation of first cycle graduates and the ninth generation of second cycle students at the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje were solemnly promoted. The event in an authentic way reflects the importance of education in the life of the modern man, but also the key function that higher education has in society as a whole. Therefore, the protocol, contents and honors for graduates and masters have been realized at the highest world academic level.

The Rector of the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, prof. Dr. Ace Milenkovski, who in his speech emphasized that our country and our young people deserve better quality in higher education that will pave the way for their future, and providing conditions for that it is our duty, but also our honor. Emphasizing the fundamental and undisputed importance of higher education in his speech, he also emphasized the need for a stronger link between the education and the business sector, government and non-government, as a necessary and crucial correlation for development.

UTMS as an already established educational institution has a mission of permanently promoting the power and role of knowledge, as evidenced by the impressive number of graduates, the high employability of the graduates and the career success of the alumni with whom the UTMS team is proud. The solemn promotion was recognized by prominent individuals from relevant institutions, representatives of the business and academic community in the country and abroad being present at the event.
