At the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, today, October 1st, 2018, a solemn academic class was held, marking the beginning of the teaching for the students enrolled in the first cycle of studies in the academic year 2018-2019.

In the amphitheater of the university, to the students of the first cycle of studies spoke with a suitable speech the Pro-Rector for Teaching at the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, Prof. Mijalce Gjorgievski PhD, who, on behalf of the Rector, Prof. Ace Milenkovski PhD and on behalf of the entire teaching staff wished them warmly welcome. In his address, the pro-rector especially emphasized the commitment of the teaching staff in the realization of quality teaching by applying the methodology of studying under the credit transfer system of the Bologna Declaration, emphasizing the uniqueness of UTMS as the only university that consistently implements the ECTS system of study. In the further presentation, the pro-rector stressed that the students will gain competitive competences that will enable them to actively and prestigiously advance in their professional careers.

At the end of his address, he wished them a successful academic year.

After completing the official academic time, the students from each faculty had separate meetings with the deans that were informed about the future activities in the academic year 2018-2019, the application of the digital technology in the process of study, the curricula, the schedule of classes, the use of the E-index , E-student and E-library.
