In December 2016 in Lenexa, Kansas, USA, the Board of Commissioners of the International Accreditation Board for Business Education (IACBE), announced that its meeting in Orlando, Florida, USA, the University of Tourism and management- Skopje, Republic of Macedonia became a candidate for accreditation.
The granting of candidate status, the Board of Commissioners determined that the University of Tourism and Management - Skopje has developed an adequate system of quality management; that meets the technical requirements for the bid relating to its business programs, has resources, and operational processes; and meets the criteria to proceed with the accreditation process.
IACBE - International Accreditation Board for Business Education (IACBE) was founded in 1997 and is a nationally recognized by the Council for Accreditation of Higher Education of the United States (CHEA). IACBE is a leader in program accreditation, guided by its mission which is based on results of student-centered colleges and other institutions of higher education in the world.
