Within its socially responsible work, the University of Tourism and Management-Skopje is a co-organizer of the "Wedding in Galichnik" event. Its contribution to the cultivation and affirmation of the rich cultural heritage and the traditional values of Republic of Macedonia. UTMS provides Macedonia with the inclusion of its professional, financial and material - technical capacities in organizing and realizing this unique event. For this purpose, a team of professors, assistants and students from UTMS actively participated in the promotion and support of this tourist attraction attracting a large number of domestic and foreign visitors every year. UTMS primarily accomplishes its commitment to nurturing and promoting the rich cultural heritage in the social community by educating staff at the Faculty of Tourism for the needs of the tourism market, active cooperation with the business entities in the creation of the national strategy for support and development of the tourism in the Republic of Macedonia. Macedonia, as well as the participation in the organization and realization of numerous manifestations and events.
Traditionally, like every year and this year, the Scholarship Fund, Prof. Ljube Milenkovski, who is part of the UTMS of the newlyweds of the "Wedding in Galichnik", grants full scholarships for studying at one of the five faculties.
