Within the program for guest lecturers at the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje on 01.11.2017, the lecture was delivered by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Macedonia, His Excellency Mr. Wouter Plomp, who spoke on the topic: in front of the students, the employees and the students from the SUGS "Zdravko Cvetkovski" and the SUGS "Nikola Karev". Let's get to know the Netherlands ". In his lecture, the Ambassador gave special emphasis to tourism as one of the most important industries in the country that has great economic impact. In this context, the economic impact of MICE tourism was particularly emphasized, which the Netherlands pays great attention through the NBTC (The Netherland Board of Tourism and Conventions) as well as the focus of the tourism industry on sustainability through investment in nature and renewable energy. During the lecture, some of the students and staff asked questions about the current trends in the tourism industry.
