PROFESSORS FROM UTMS PARTICIPATED ON THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE IN THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVAKIA

Organized by the Faculty of Political Science at the University "Aleksandar Dubcek" in the Republic of Macedonia. Slovakia, on the 23rd of February 2018 in Trencin was held the VII International Scientific Conference on the topic: "Contemporary Political Aspects". Besides the numerous eminent exhibitors from the country and abroad, at this scientific gathering, the Dean of the Faculty of Human Resource Management of UTMS, Prof. Aleksandra Stoilkovska PhD, moderator of one of the conference panels, as well as prof. Prof. Violeta Milenkovska PhD, Assoc. Prof. Jana Ilieva and Assoc. Prof. Aleksandar Dashtevski. The main speaker at the conference was Assoc. Prof. Jana Ilieva, who had a presentation on the topic "The right to self-determination in the 21st century: a comparative and international legal aspect." The presentation caused great interest in the topic and constructive discussion in the context of the current situation in the realization of the the right to self-determination.

Within the framework of the visit, the cooperation between the two universities in the Erasmus Plus mobility program was agreed, as well as in the field of exchange of experiences and results of scientific research and commencement of joint scientific research and expert projects that will have a significant development role in the higher education of both countries, but also in the region.
