On the 20th and 21st of April 2018, at the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, the manifestation "Educational Rendezvous 2018" was held, a project of the Youth Association of Secondary Vocational Schools in Macedonia-MASSUM.
The University of Tourism and Management in Skopje was a co-organizer and host of the "Educational Rendezvous 2018".

As a higher education institution, the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, in addition to the educational and scientific-research activity, permanently operates in the segment of socially responsible work. For that purpose, the university has established long-standing cooperation with secondary schools in the Republic of Macedonia and enables to the students, teachers and the directors to receive expert support through the trainings and lectures by the professors at the university, as well as the eminent world experts.
In the interest of attaining the common educational vision and realizing the mission of supporting and directing the creativity and inventiveness of the high school students in order to improve the personal values of the students and their preparation for entering the world of competition through leadership, practical work and learning to building a successful Career, the university maximally invests in promoting of the talented and creative people that profiles them in future affirmatios of change for a better world.

The manifestation was officially opened by the Pro-Rector for Teaching at the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, Prof Mijalce Gjorgievski PhD. In his address the pro-rector pointed out that this event is significant for education in the Republic of Macedonia and therefore the university supports as a co-organizer and host of the competitions of the most talented creators of secondary vocational schools.

The President of the Managing Board of MASSUM, Mr. Blagojce Gjorchevski, also pointed out that "Educational Rendezvous 2018" is an event that gives to the high school students the opportunity to recognize the values of competitiveness as an important factor for choosing future education and building successful career.

On the "Educational Rendezvous 2018" participated 43 secondary vocational schools from the Republic of Macedonia competing in 18 categories. In addition to the competitive thematic section, the high school students had the opportunity to present their educational profiles to the academic and business community, from which they received information and recommendations for making decisions for their further education and career development.

The best in each category were awarded prizes and recognitions, and all the participants received certificates of participation.
