In the amphitheater of the University of Tourism and Management - Skopje, today, September 18, 2017, was held a solemn academic class, officially marking the beginning of the academic year 2017-2018. The ceremony was attended by the future academic citizens who decided to continue their education at one of the five faculties that function within the University of Tourism and Management, or the Faculty of Tourism, the Faculty of Human Resource Management, the Faculty of Entrepreneurial Business, Faculty of International Marketing Management and the Faculty of Economics.

The solemn class was opened by the Secretary General of UTMS who wished to the students warmly welcome, and announced the address of the Vice-Rector for Teaching, Prof. Mijalce Gorgievski PhD. In his address, the Pro-Rector for Teaching specifically emphasized the uniqueness of UTMS, primarily through the methodology of studying, which will enable them to acquire quality competences that will be competitive on the labor market after graduation and successful in building professional careers. In that context, he talked about the compatibility of curricula with those of the prestigious universities in Europe and the world, Erasmus + student exchange and study program, an internationally recognized degree that enables mobility in studying and working, the cooperation with the business sector from which they teach the best practices for success.

At the end of the Rector's name, Prof. Ace Milenkovski PhD, and on behalf of the employees, the Pro-Rector for Teaching, wished to the students a successful academic year.

After the address of the Pro-Rector for Teaching, the System Administrator presented to the students the functioning of the platform E-student, or the external portal from the website intended for the students through which they receive all the information in electronic form. Thereafter, the students' e-indexes were handed by the deans of the faculties.

After the graduation the students from each faculty had separate meetings with the deans that were informed about the future activities in the academic year 2017-2018.
