The rector of the University of Tourism and Management, prof. Ace Milenkovski, Ph.D., received the Man with Enduring Values award at the official selection of the "Men of the Year" event for 2022, organized by "Gentleman Magazine". The thirteen most successful men in Macedonia for 2022 received awards at the gala evening for awarding the awards, which was held yesterday evening at "DoubleTree by Hilton Skopje", in the presence of a large number of public figures from the business community, politicians, diplomats.

At the official presentation of this award, given by the expert jury at the event, Rector Milenkovski said that it was a great honor and pleasure for him to receive this kind of recognition in his life, especially since the lasting values are the ones on which his personal and professional success is based.

„The satisfaction is immense when your effort, persistence and dedicated work will be recognized by the expert public, and it is an even greater honor when the recognition comes from the wider society. It is not easy to be the best – it is a privilege, but also a heavy burden. This is a great obligation for me personally, but also for the University that I manage, to continue to work dedicatedly and to create new generations of young professionals who will stay to work in Macedonia, to contribute to a better future here, in their homeland", said the rector Milenkovski in front of the present guests.

He referred to the goals of the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, which fulfills its mission to create knowledge, implement the highest standards and always strive for excellence in education.

"Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world. This quote by Nelson Mandela is one of the most famous about the value of education. The beautiful side of learning is that no one can take it away from you, neither the process itself nor what you have learned", said the rector to those present in the hall.

The fifth anniversary selection honored thirteen men who made a mark on our society through their achievements in 2022. The selection was made by a jury-commission consisting of members from various institutions, proven journalists, representatives from the business sector, directors, stylists. This event takes place every year in November, the month dedicated to men's health.
