The Curriculum upon which the Faculty of Tourism in Skopje will lead the teaching program preparing for the exam after which the candidates will gain the certificate and a title: Tour Guide in Macedonia.
This imperative arises as a need of the tourism industry in the country, especially as the need of tourist organizations in our country.
The Curriculum that has been adopted by the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Tourism in Skopje, covers eight separate items which, by their content are necessary for high-quality and well-designed teaching and training of candidates who will work in the tourism organizations, tourism associations, tourist information centers, diplomatic protocol at the local and state level, and will meet the needs of domestic and foreign tourists.
The curriculum includes the following courses:
1. Tourism, principles and practice
2. Tourist Geography of the Republic of Macedonia
3. National history
4. Cultural heritage
5. Management in hotel and travel agencies
6. Information-guided service in tourism
7. Tourism and transportation
8. Foreign language
9. Practical exam
