As a university dedicated to scientific research, the University of Skopje is focused on researches that have pioneering importance both in terms of their originality, uniqueness and strict observance of the prescribed rules of scientific research work, as well as in terms of their significance and contribution to overcoming of societal challenges in the areas of his expertise: tourism, economics, marketing, business, human resources and international relations and diplomacy.

The development and implementation of scientific research projects is of vital importance for achieving the strategic goals of the University of Skopje. The university implements projects of small, medium and large scale, at team level or at faculty or university level. The aim of the University is to capitalize the knowledge generated in specific multi- and interdisciplinary research in solving key national and global challenges, especially considering that their complexity requires a productive fusion of different perspectives and skills. In doing so, we strive to inspire and support our students to take an active part in scientific-research activities or initiate their own projects with which they will acquire leadership skills and make an impact in the community.

We strive for the generation and transfer of knowledge to be embedded in our daily academic activities, which, apart from the scientific-teaching process, also include dissemination through publications, public engagement, support of government policies and industry, and commercialization of our intellectual property.
