Students from the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, led by Assoc. Dejan Nakovski, Goran Apostolovski MSc, Janika Karapetkova MSc and Stefan Ristovski MSc on 19.11.2016 visit the Tourism Fair "PHILOXENIA 2016” held in Thessaloniki.
Students from UTMS on "PHILOXENIA 2016” realized the Scientific practicum through direct contacts with the exhibitors at had the opportunity to learn about the rich tourist offer and the tourist trends in the world tourism destinations, but also to learn the latest marketing interactive approaches to global tourism market, organization, placement and branding of the stands, as well as the organizing events that are taking place in order to attract visitors.
The fair promoted more than 350 exhibitors from 32 countries (hotel resorts, travel agencies and tour operators, transport companies and companies whose activities are related to the stourism industry).
Within the Scientific practicum students from UTMS visited the Flamingo Casino Hotel - Gevgelija, where the management team of the hotel were aware of the innovative models of strategic and operational management of resources in the hotel.
