Students from the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, led by Assoc. Prof. Dejan Nakovski, Ass. Goran Apostolovski and Ass. Marina Stojmirova, took part in a one-day visit to the Tourism Fair "PHILOXENIA 2017" on November 10, 2017 in Thessaloniki. During the realization of the teaching-scientific practice, students through direct contacts with the exhibitors had the opportunity to get acquainted with the rich tourist offer and with tourist trends in the world's tourist destinations, but also to learn the most modern interactive marketing approaches in the global tourism market, the way of organization, placing and branding of stands, as well as organizing events that are realized in order to attract visitors. Within the framework of the teaching-scientific practice, the students from UTMS visited the Casino Flamingo Hotel - Gevgelija, where the management team of the hotel was introduced with the innovative models of strategic and operational management of the resources in the hotel.
