ON UTMS WAS HELD EXPERT LECTURE FOR RECOGNITION OF QUALIFICATIONS FOR RELEVANT JOB

Creating a competitive economy requires an educated and well-trained workforce. It is in this context organized by the Faculty of Human Resources Management, University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, 16.11.2016 year, held a lecture on "RECOGNITION OF QUALIFICATIONS FOR RELEVANT JOB".

The lecture began with outreach to the students and presentation of a guest lecturer by the Dean of the Faculty of Human Resource Management, Aleksandra Stoilkovska PhD.

Advisor on Education Policy in the Ministry of Education and Science, Ms Natasha Janevska, stressed the importance of identifying and defining the competencies as a key element in the creation of the National Framework of Qualifications is essential for self-direction and choice of profession by the students. Specifically addressed the interpretation of the meaning of their qualifications of the learning outcomes, and the possibility of their acquiring more formal, informal and informal way. In the context of standardization of the Macedonian Qualifications Framework with the European Qualifications Framework it was emphasized that UTMS is the only university in the Republic Macedonia, which implemented international standards of competence and qualifications and as such a meeting in Brussels was evidence in the process of referencing, ie harmonization of the Macedonian with the European Qualifications Framework. With the following: "UTMS is a leader in higher education in the Republic Macedonia" Mrs. Janevska highlighted internationally recognized diploma and Diploma Supplement, compatibility of curricula with those of prestigious universities worldwide, the mobility of the students, involving representatives from the business community in policy of each of the faculties and others.

Macedonian Qualifications Framework is a link between different qualifications systems worldwide, thus increasing the mobility of individuals as well as in education and the labor market. Most of the activities envisaged in this project is implemented in the work of the faculty of UTMS so that representatives from the University presented the practical experiences in terms of learning outcomes, ie competences that will gain students after graduation.

In her closing speech Mrs. Janevska noted that: "The qualifications are not make-up, but recognizable and transparent system that is aimed at the needs of the business community in order to strengthen the economic capacities of the Republic Macedonia".
