In order to raise the knowledge and business skills of its students, UTMS signed a Memorandum of cooperstion with Skopje Marriott Hotel which implies a range of positive practices and activities on both sides, such as practical lessons, employment and expert lectures. That is where, in order to encourage students to apply the knowledge acquired, general manager of Skopje Marriott Hotel, Mr. Dirk Vlierboom and Director of Marketing & Sales Mr. Piotor Lenczewski held interesting and challenging expert lecture entitled Management global brand in international and local market.
Rich professional, international experience of the managers of Skopje Marriott Hotel was integrated into interactive lecture covering contemporary topics, highlighting the challenges of the global tourism market, the future of the brands, the ability to anticipate the future dynamics of the market and structure modeling of communication mixes in order successfully maintenance and positioning of the brand strategy.
Students of UTMS recognized the information for competitive positioning of the brand through correlation with the fact that UTMS two years was awarded Superbrand in higher education, and a range of awards internationally. Therefore within the interactive lecture developed pragmatic and eloquent discussion of that topic through which actualized important economic, marketing and other issues related to the tourism industry, especially emphasizing the challenges in human resources, adaptability and learning process of staff.
