In the frame of the program for guests lecturers at the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje on 06.04.2017 year expert lecture held the Ambassador of Hungary in the Republic of Macedonia, His Excellency Mr. István László Dux to the students, the staff and the students from the High School "Josip Broz Tito" spoke on the topic: "Tourism trends in Republic of Hungary". Besides the most important tourist destinations in the Republic of Hungary, the Ambassador emphasize the economic impact of tourism, which accounts for 10.3% of the GDP of the Republic of Hungary, which is an important economic sector that employs 9.3% of the working age population. The Ambassador in his lecture as an important sector for achieving future development goals in tourism in the Republic Hungary, emphasized the marketing and the promotional activities which in 2017 provided 36.7 million euros in Republic of Hungary and an additional 16.5 million euros to promote the nation's capital - Budapest. During the lecture the students and the staff raised questions about the current trends in the hospitality industry.
