In the framework of the guest lecture program at the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje on 27 March, 2018, an expert lecture was delivered by the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary in Republic of Macedonia, His Excellency, Laszlo Istvan Dux PhD, who spoke on behalf of the students, the employees and students from SUGS "Nikola Karev" and SOGS "Georgi Dimitrov" on the topic: "The tourist and the economic potentials of the Republic of Hungary ". His presentation, His Excellency, Laszlo Istvan Dux PhD, started with a presentation of the economic indicators for R. Hungary showing the continuing development of the GDP in the Republic of Hungary, reducing the unemployment and the budget deficit. Also, the ambassador noted the developed traffic infrastructure as an important precondition for the country's overall economic and tourism development. From the tourist potentials, the capital of Hungary, Budapest, he said that is as a pillar of the tourism in Hungary, as well as Lake Balaton, as a center for coastal tourism, has been highlighted. Not less importance has been given to the world's cultural heritage sites, music festivals, gastronomy, and wine roads. During the lecture, some of the students asked questions about the current trends in the tourism industry.
