In the presence of the academic staff, ministers, mayors, representatives from the business community and the media, a glamorous ceremonial awarding of diplomas to the sixteenth generation of graduate students and the fourteenth generation of masters at the University of Skopje took place at the National Opera and Ballet.

The rector of Skopje University, prof. In his emotional speech, PhD. Ace Milenkovski told the graduates and masters that the family is the homeland of love - this is exactly the kind of big family that the University of Skopje is, with the graduates, masters, their parents and all the guests present.

"Be beacons, conquer and illuminate the world and Macedonia with hope, wisdom, knowledge and kindness. You are the future, the ones who can bring new energy, new ideas and changes that will advance us all," said Rector Milenkovski to this year's masters and graduates.

He especially thanked his colleagues and friends for selflessly contributing to the development of science, higher education and the economy. Prof. PhD. Slobodan Ivanovich, full professor in permanent title, was awarded the honorary title of Professor Emeritus, to prof. PhD. Jove Kekenovski was awarded the honorary title of Professor Honoris Causa, and Mr. Femi Kosowali was awarded the honorary title of Doctor Honoris Causa.

The festive promotion started with the ballet "Simply the best" choreographed by Olga Pango, whose performance through music and dance captured all the important moments in a person's education. A storm of emotions was also caused by the performance of a part of the Memory group.

The students of the generation were also announced at the official promotion in MOB. The best graduates and masters thanked the academic staff, their dedication and professionalism. University of Skopje, which is a brand in higher education, creates staff who are already established in managerial positions in renowned companies.
