The rector of the University of Skopje, prof. PhD. Ace Milenkovski, as an official guest, attended the first academic class at the Agrarian University in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, yesterday.

A large number of guests, friends and partners of the University from the country and abroad were present at this exceptional event, which the University traditionally organizes to mark the beginning of the new academic year. Among the guests were the Minister of Education and Science of Bulgaria, prof. Dr. Galin Tsokov, the Minister of Social Policy of the Republic of Congo, prof. PhD. Irene Mboku-Kimbatsa, as well as the Minister of Agriculture and Economy of the Republic of Congo, Prof. PhD. Rosalie Matondo.

The rector of the Agrarian University, prof. PhD. Hristina Jancheva, as well as the Minister of Education of Bulgaria, prof. PhD. Galin Tsokov, who wished the new students of the University much success during the days they will spend at this higher education institution. Greetings to the students were addressed by Prof. PhD. Irene Mboku-Kimbatsa and Prof. PhD Rosalie Matondo, the two ministers from the Republic of Congo and alumni of the University, whose success in itself speaks for the quality of the educational process and the prestige of this institution.

The event was enriched with its own performance by the ensemble of the Music Academy in Plovdiv, which also performed parts of Verdi's "La Traviata" in the repertoire for this solemn occasion. The flag of the University, with a march that left no one indifferent, was brought into the amphitheater where the ceremony took place by the students of the University. The symbol of the institution was welcomed and sent in the same way, with undisguised delight from the audience, and with its sending, the official part of the ceremonial opening of the new academic year of the Agrarian University in Plovdiv ended. On the sidelines of the event, the rector of Skopje University, prof. PhD. Ace Milenkovski, held short meetings with the Minister of Education and Science of Bulgaria, prof. PhD. Galin Tsokov, with the Minister of Social Policy of the Republic of Congo, prof. PhD. Irene Mboku-Kimbatsa, as well as with the Minister of Agriculture and Economy of the Republic of Congo, Prof. PhD. Rosalie Matondo.
