As of yesterday, the University of Skopje officially became the general sponsor of the women's handball club "Spartak" from Skopje!

It is our honor to help another Macedonian sports club, said the Rector of UTMS, prof. PhD Ace Milenkovski and added: "Macedonian handball and Macedonian sport in general deserves much more than the current situation. Each of their victories is mine, but also the University's and the entire Macedonian people's. The University of Skopje continues to invest in the future of this country within its capabilities"

For this purpose, this club will bear the name Women's Handball Club "Spartak - University of Skopje"

Spartak is one of the younger teams in the women's league that gravitates to Kisela Voda Municipality. The ambitions of the team this year is to be a stable team and above all a desirable environment for young players who should get more playing time and the opportunity to advance. Among the new members of Spartak are the youth representative Ema Kirova, the cadet representative Anastasija Mitrova, as well as Marija Kochkova.

The club announces that in the next period they will confirm several new young and promising handball players who will strengthen the club for the next season. This will start the realization of the goals of the club.

"As a club, we are glad that an institution like "University of Skopje" recognized what we do and that we will have the opportunity to build a healthy society together based on education and sports. In the future, our team will add the name of "University of Skopje" to its name and I believe that together we will be more and more successful from year to year, said Sasho Vasilevski, the president of HC Spartak.
