World Tourism Day, September 27, is the day when the statute of the World Tourism Organization was adopted in 1970. In his address to the guests on the occasion of this day, prof. Dr. Dejan Nakovski emphasized that this year's observance of the day is dedicated to the rethinking of tourism - so that it meets the new needs of tourists that resulted from the global health crisis, which fundamentally changed the world. The new goals for the development of tourism should have people at the center, they should create new jobs, they should demonstrate care for the planet earth and encourage local economic development.
