"Cobra's path to the stars" - this is the title of the documentary film dedicated to the biggest football name in Macedonian history, Darko Panchev. Under the general patronage of the University of Tourism and Management, now with a new name University of Skopje, this film document with historical value for Macedonian sport is organized and co-produced by Sport Club Television, Sports Radio 90.3 and Sport Network Production.

"History is written by many people, I am honored that together with Darko Panchev we created a documentary film for future generations. This is a film project about Macedonian sports history. Darko Panchev is a Macedonian star who deserves all the glory," said the rector, prof. PhD. Ace Milenkovski.

"The Cobra's Path to the Stars" is a film about the rise of the Macedonian sports brand Darko Panchev to the European and world throne. Panchev is one of the best goal scorers in the world in the eighties and early nineties of the last century and one of the most famous Macedonian athletes in history. He is the holder of the Golden Boot for the best scorer in Europe and the Silver Ball for the best football player. Proclaimed as Macedonian football player of the 20th century, a true pride of Macedonian sport.

"It is certainly an honor and a pleasure for me that my career will be presented in this way on the movie screen. It was a pleasure to cooperate with the producers of the film, and I hope that the entire Macedonian and Balkan public will like it", said Panchev.

Sport Club said that they created a film about Darko's childhood, his growth and football development, about the path to success, and not only according to his memories, but also the memories of many other people, close to him and from his environment.

„Darko is a very grateful interlocutor, but also very difficult, because he remembers many details. It's just amazing how Darko remembers everything from his football career, so with that alone it was really easy for us, but at the same time a little more difficult to put everything in one place, and in any case to create, I think, a really wonderful documentary a film that will forever bear witness to the greatness that is Darko Panchev", pointed out from Sport Club, the creators of the documentary film about the Macedonian footballer of the century.

The film, through guest appearances by prominent sports and public figures, as well as Panchev himself, tells his life story on the football fields, to the top of the world football throne. The filming was done in several locations in Skopje, Belgrade, Sarajevo, Zagreb, Bucharest, Podgorica, over a period of two months with more than 40 personalities from the world of football, culture and public life.
