On February 28, in the morning program of TV Alfa "Good morning, every day", on the topic of the upcoming Women's Leadership Forum organized by the University of Tourism and Management, Daniela Trajkovska, coordinator for marketing and public relations, spoke with the host Susana Turundzieva at the University.
The event under the motto "Women write history" will be held on 6th March, 2023, starting at 11:00 a.m. in the premises of the University. but also women leaders from abroad, such as the ambassadors of Serbia, Greece and Sweden in the country, the general director of Turkish Airlines, the general director of UNET and honorary consul of Canada, energy advisor in Prague, the rector of the University of Telecommunications and Posts from Sofia , MOB manager and choreographer Olga Pango and many others.
Trajkovska emphasized that as a socially responsible higher education institution, the University aims with this event to open issues for women in society, but as they experience them, especially on their way to leadership positions in society. In doing so, she emphasized that in order for a successful woman to cope with all her different roles, she needs a lot of support, first from herself, and then from her family, community and society as a whole.
Trajkovska also emphasized that the road to success is difficult, but that it is even more difficult to stay at the top. "The Macedonian woman is a strong woman. We have many successful women who firmly and confidently walk in the realization of their ambitions. "Macedonia is moving upwards in terms of gender equality," Trajkovska said, assessing the situation in Macedonia. Trajkovska, at the end of her presentation, emphasized that the University of Tourism and Management is an example of how gender equality should be practiced, given that the majority of professors and deans at the University are women. What's more, as an educational institution, the University encourages the development of leadership skills among its female students, and as a result, many of the University's alumni are today successful managers and leaders in their professional fields in society!
