In the premises of the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, an international language exam in German was held today under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Skopje. The exam was organized by the secondary schools SUGS "Georgi Dimitrov" and SUGS "Josip Broz Tito" from Skopje, which have been implementing the DSD I and DSD II program (German language diploma at secondary and higher level)since 2008 as partner schools of the Federal Republic of Germany. The purpose of the program is to gain knowledge, pass international language exams in German and obtain international certificates.
The present students were addressed by the representative of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mrs. Diana Böhme, attaché for culture at the Embassy, and the director of SUGS "Georgi Dimitrov", Mr. Sasha Stoimenov wished them good luck in the exam. Prof. PhD Violeta Milenkovska also welcomed the students to the University, who emphasized that its doors are always open to young people.
71 students from both schools participated in the exam. The University of Tourism and Management, as a socially responsible higher education institution, always meets the educational needs of the youth in the country!
