On February 7, 2019 at the ceremony organized in the hotel "Alexander Palace" awards for Superbrands were awarded to prestigious companies and institutions from the Republic of Macedonia. Being among the award-winners is a real honor because the Superbrands expert panel consists of experts and eminent individuals from the world of branding, advertising, marketing, design, product management, public relations and business, and it's also important for consumers to think. More than 5,000 consumers and carefully selected experts have declared UTMS as a brand leader in the higher education based on criteria for quality, reliability, diversity and emotional appeal.
UTMS for the third time is the winner of this prestigious award in the category of the higher education, which means that this is another confirmation that it is a brand that is highly positioned in the business world and which follows the global quality standards in the higher education.
The ceremony was attended by a delegation from UTMS, and the Superbrands award for UTMS was received by the Rector of the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, Prof. Ace Milenkovski PhD. In his address, he stressed that the university has received several international awards for quality, but the awards that the university receives in the Republic of Macedonia make him feel more honored. The Rector awarded 5 scholarships to the Superbrands group, from the Scholarship Fund "Prof. Ljube Milenkovski PhD".
The awards were awarded in different categories: the opera singer Vesna Ginovska Ilkova was declared for brand personality, the issue One on one was declared for the brand issue, the city of Kushevo was chosen as the brand destination, the brand Stobi Flips was chosen for the brand. Among the rewarded companies and institutions were: Halk Bank, Eurofarm, Telekabel, Kouzon, TV 24, Radio Buba Mara.
