The event "Macedonian Quality Award" organized by the Union of Chambers of Commerce of the Republic of Macedonia, under the auspices of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of Macedonia, is held every year in recognition of promotion of the business success of the Macedonian companies for the current year, for companies that have a tradition of creating Macedonian quality.

This year the quality recognition is awarded to the companies that show continuous development of the standards for human resources promotion and promotion of companies, companies and institutions that implement innovative practices in the way of work, generate initiatives for preserving the Macedonian tradition, have expressed a sense of social accountability and represent a good business example of the incentive for development and contribute to the growth of the economy at the national level.

In accordance with the established criteria, 10 awards for Macedonian quality for 2018 were awarded. The University of Tourism and Management in Skopje is among the ten most successful companies and the winner of this year's Macedonian Quality Certificate 2018.

The ceremony organized on this occasion, was attended by a delegation from UTMS headed by the Rector of UTMS, Prof. Ace Milenkovski PhD, the Secretary General, Zoran Gjorgjeski, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, Prof. Sasko Gramatnikovski PhD, Head of the Department for Security and Quality Control, Ms. Cvetanka Velkoska, Ljupco Milenkovski, Goran Karovski and Dragi Ilievski and Prof. Mikolaj Kuzinovski PhD.
The award granted by the President of the Republic of Macedonia H.E Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, on behalf of the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, received the Rector of the University, Prof. Ace Milenkovski PhD, who in his address emphasized the dedication of all the employees of the university in monitoring and promoting of the high standards of the quality in the higher education and strengthening the culture of quality in all the segments of the university's work.
