On October 28, 2018, in the Macedonian Opera and Ballet in Skopje, a unique, solemn promotion of the tenth generation graduates of the first cycle of studies and of the eighth generation of students of second cycle studies at the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje took place. The official promotion started with the intonation of the state anthem of the Republic of Macedonia, followed by the intonation of the student anthem "Gaudeamus Igitur". At the opening ceremony a ballet point from the ballet of MOB was performed: "O Fortuna", Karmina Burana, Carl Orff, and the ballet performance "SIMPLY THE BEST" dedicated to UTMS.
At the official promotion, the rector of the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, Prof. Ace Milenkovski PhD, who in his speech emphasized the synergy with the employees and collaborators with whom he created the temple of knowledge, the center of success, an institution that unites the past, present and future, enthusiasm and tradition, wisdom and curiosity. An institution that permanently promotes the power of knowledge, the commitment to continuous innovation and creative realization of the teaching through which students acquire extraordinary competences, and thus profiles themselves as highly competitive in the labor market. In this context, the Rector emphasized: "A day for the graduates in your eyes is bright! The future is theirs. We present them with joy and pride today. The gift is meritorious, worthwhile. Tonight we are awarding a diploma which is their identity, visa and plan, a ticket for a new life. This diploma will give you a clear roadmap on who you are and how much harm you have. And a lot of money. You, respected students, are the strongest partner of UTMS, the strongest partner in the world, the greatest hope of any democratic society, You are our brand product, our brand leaders who do not recognize others."
Also in his address, the rector, Prof. Ace Milenkovski PhD emphasized the permanent investment of the academic staff in the establishment of high educational standards according to the example of the famous world universities, which is reflected in numerous awards for quality in higher education, business prestige, super brand and others.
The Rector completed his address with a strong message: "UTMS as a prestigious educational institution has achieved excellent results and successes. The prestige does not obligate us to think very seriously about the future, to carefully follow the path of the world's most successful universities. Our future commitment is to continue to educate and produce personnel that will make radical changes in the direction of improving the social and economic well-being of the Republic of Macedonia. I wish you fruitful, productive years, a life full of well-being, work, labor, abundance and love! Your graduation is my blessing, and for that I am thankful to you and to God! "
At the ceremony awards and recognitions of the employees with top achievements in the educational and scientific-research work of UTMS as well as business partners were awarded. A special guest at the official promotion was Mr. Mehmed Durmaz, owner and executive director of "Emre LTD" Ankara, Republic of Turkey and successful international manager in Republic of Macedonia. Rector of UTMS, prof. Dr. Ace Milenkovski awarded Mr. Mehmed Durmaz, the honorary title "DOCTOR HONORIS CAUSA".
The promotion was attended by prominent figures from relevant institutions, representatives from the business community, ambassadors in the Republic of Macedonia and other guests. After the awarding of the diplomas and the traditional throwing of the caps, the ceremony was marked with a cocktail for all the guests present.
Impressive, sectarian and sensational promotion has inspired the enthusiasm and satisfaction of the graduates and masters, their families and friends, as well as other guests, who according to the comments of all, is unique in Macedonia, as is UTMS.
