UTMS HELD THE FORMAL ACADEMIC HOUR WITH THE STUDENTS OF SECOND CYCLE STUDIES

The University of Tourism and Management in Skopje today, Feb. 11 2017, held its first formal academic class, thus marking the beginning of the classes for the students enrolled in the second cycle studies in the academic year 2016-2017.

In the amphitheater of the University, students of postgraduate studies with an appropriate speech addressed the rector of the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje,. Ace Milenkovski PhD. In his address, Rector especially emphasized the commitment of the teaching staff in the implementation of the quality education by applying the methodology of study per credit transfer system in the Bologna Declaration, highlighting the uniqueness of UTMS as the only University which consistently implementing ECTS of study. Further on, the Rector noted that students will gain the competitive competencies that will enable them to prestige and advancement in their professional careers.

In an appropriate address of the Rector of the University of Tourism and Management, webmaster students presented how the e-student, or the external portal of the website for students through which they get all the information in electronic form, and operation of the e-Library. Followed were delivered the E-indices of the students by the deans of the faculties.

After the completing of the solemn hour the students from every faculty had separate meetings with the deans who were informed about the future activities in the academic year 2016-2017.

After the meeting with the deans, the students from all the faculties of the University attended the lecture on the subject "Methodology of scientific research" by Zoran Ivanovic PhD, a professor at the Faculty of Management in Tourism and Hospitality, University of Rijeka.
