Organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Macedonia, within the project "Towards the Free Movement of Professionals" supported by the European Union, and implemented by LATTANZIO Advisory and Consortium, the CNDIP partner on October 19, 2017, held a one-day conference in the hotel "Marriott" in Skopje. The conference was attended by senior EU officials, the Ministry of Education and Science, representatives of the business community, chambers, the civil sector and the Academy. A central topic of discussion was the application of European legislation to mutual recognition of professional qualifications.
Representatives of the academic staff of UTMS participated at the conference: Assoc. Prof.. Blagica Novkovska and Assoc. Prof. Ljupka Naumovska.
Key speakers at the conference emphasized the importance of the mobility of the professionals, services, goods and equity in Europe in the function of addressing globalization and digitization by increasing the competitiveness of goods and services producers. In this direction, they pointed out the need for leveling regulations and pursuing a single market without barriers, harmonizing educational standards and meeting the criteria for entry into the EU.
