In accordance to the article 149 of the Law on Higher Education ("Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia" No. 82/2018), the University of Skopje - Skopje, with its headquarters  on Boulevard "Partizanski Odredi" number 99, 1000 Skopje, hereby announces:

                                                       CALL

for enrolling students in the first cycle of university undergraduate studies and the second cycle of university (master's) studies at the University of Skopje - Skopje, in academic year 2025/2026 in Macedonian language

1.Faculty of Tourism (4+1)

First cycle diploma: Graduate Manager in Tourism (10 students) Second cycle diploma: Master in Tourism (5 students)

2.Faculty of Economics (4+1)

Study program Finance, Banking and Insurance:

First cycle diploma: Bachelor of Economics, major: Finance, Banking and Insurance (50 students)

Study program Finance

Second cycle degree: Master of Economics, major: Finance (50 students)

Study program Human Resources Management

First cycle diploma: Bachelor of Economics, major: Human Resources Management (25 students)

Second cycle degree: Master of Economics, major: Human Resources Management (5 students)

Study program International Marketing Management

First cycle diploma: Bachelor of Economics, major: International Marketing Management (20 students)

Second cycle degree: Master of Economics, major: International Marketing Management (5 students)

3.Faculty of Computer studies

First cycle degree (four-year, 240 ECTS): Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (10 students)

Second cycle degree (one-year, 4+1): Master of Informatics (10 students) Second cycle degree (two-year, 3+2): Master of Informatics (10 students)

The first and second cycle studies are in the scientific research areas and fields:

1 natural and mathematical sciences, field 110 computer science, 2 technical and technological sciences, field 212 computer engineering and computer science, 5 social sciences, field 503 economic sciences, 506 organizational sciences and management and 514 tourism and hospitality from the Classification of Scientific and Research Areas, Fields and Areas according to the International Frascati Classification.

I Number of students

At the University of Skopje - Skopje, in the first year of the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies, for the above-mentioned study programs, in the academic year 2025/2026, a total of 115 students will enroll, and 85 students will enroll in the second cycle of studies.

II Conditions and criteria for enrollment

In the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies

 

II.a.1The condition for enrollment in the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies is the state matriculation examination or international matriculation examination, i.e. the completion of four-year secondary education according to the regulations that were in force before the introduction of the state matriculation examination. In the academic year 2025/2026, a person who has acquired a diploma for completing secondary education lasting four years in the academic year 2019/2020 may enroll in the first cycle of academic studies, in accordance with the Decree with the force of law on the application of the Law on Secondary Education during the State of Emergency. The condition for enrollment in the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies is the completion of four-year secondary education, in secondary schools verified by an act of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Macedonia.

Domestic citizens who completed secondary education abroad, as well as foreign citizens, have the right to enroll in the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies, under the same conditions as domestic citizens.

II.a.2Candidates who have completed higher or higher education at related faculties and colleges may also enroll in the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies at the University. These candidates are enrolled outside the quota, up to a maximum of 20% of the total number of full-time students at the University determined in this Competition.

II.a.3Candidates are enrolled as full-time, part-time or distance learning students, with self- financing of their studies, in an amount determined by a decision of the Rector's Board of the University.

II.a.4Candidates are enrolled without taking an entrance exam.

II.a.5The basic criterion for selection and ranking of candidates for enrollment in the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies, in addition to the success achieved in secondary education, is the state matriculation examination, i.e. the international matriculation examination or completed four-year secondary education according to the regulations that were in force before the introduction of the state matriculation examination, and for persons who completed secondary education in the 2006/2007 academic year and earlier, the success achieved in secondary education. The basic criterion for selection and ranking of candidates for enrollment in the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies for persons who will graduate in the 2019/2020 academic year is the success achieved in secondary education. The evaluation of the candidates' success is expressed in points. Candidates can earn a maximum of 100 points, as follows:

For persons who will complete four-year secondary education in the 2019/2020 academic year, as well as candidates who have completed four-year secondary education according to the regulations that were in force before the introduction of the state matriculation examination and for persons who completed secondary education in the 2006/2007 academic year and earlier, the overall success achieved in all subjects contributes 100%.

For other candidates who are required to take the Matura exam, the evaluation of success is carried out in the following manner:

  • The overall success achieved in all subjects accounts for 60%,
  • The result of the state graduation exam, i.e. the school graduation exam or the final exam, and

the result of the external assessment of the student's achievement accounts for 40%.

The evaluation of secondary education and matriculation results is carried out according to criteria established in the Rulebook on the conditions and criteria for enrollment in the first cycle of undergraduate studies at the University.

b)In the second cycle of academic master's studies

Candidates (domestic and foreign citizens) who meet the following general requirements have the right to apply for enrollment in the second cycle (master's) studies:

  • Have completed the first cycle of university studies, lasting four years

at accredited universities, i.e. faculties in the country or abroad and have earned 240 ECTS;

 

  • Have completed the first cycle of university studies, lasting four years

in appropriate or related undergraduate studies, at accredited universities, i.e. faculties in the country or abroad and have earned 240 ECTS.

II.b.2Candidates are enrolled as full-time, part-time or distance learning students with self- financing of their studies in an amount determined by a decision of the Rector's Board of the University.

III. Deadlines for registration and enrollment

First cycle of academic undergraduate studies

Enrollment for the first cycle of studies is carried out from the date of publication of the competition until September 29, 2025. The list of enrolled students will be published on September 30, 2025.

Second cycle academic master's studies

The application of candidates will be carried out from the day of the announcement of the competition until 13.11.2025. The results for admitted candidates will be announced on 14.11.2024.

If the number of students prescribed in this Competition is not filled within the above-specified deadline, the University will announce additional enrollment deadlines, of which interested candidates will be informed in a timely manner.

IV Place of implementation of the study program

The first and second cycle study programs will be conducted at the University headquarters at 99 Partizanski Odredi Blvd., Skopje.

V Tuition

First cycle of undergraduate academic studies

The tuition fee for the first cycle of studies is 61,500 denars per semester. b) Second cycle academic master's studies

The tuition fee for the second cycle of studies is 46,125 denars per semester. The University reserves the right to award scholarships for enrollment in all study programs in accordance with the general acts of the University.

VI Registration and enrollment documents

When applying for enrollment, candidates submit the following documents:

a) for enrollment in first cycle (undergraduate) studies:

1.a registered enrollment form (obtained from the University);

2.original certificates from all school years (I, II, III, IV years);

3.state matura or international matura or completed four-year secondary education for persons who graduated in the 2019/2020 academic year, as well as those who graduated according to the regulations that were in force before the introduction of the state matura;

4.birth certificate (for domestic citizens) and

5.proof of citizenship (certificate or decision) for domestic citizens, or a notarized copy of a passport for foreign citizens.

b)for enrollment in second cycle (master's) studies:

1.a registered enrollment form (obtained from the University);

2.diploma, diploma supplement or certificate of passed exams, as well as a document proving knowledge of one of the world languages;

3.birth certificate (for domestic citizens) and

4.proof of citizenship (certificate or decision) for domestic citizens, or a notarized copy of a passport for foreign citizens.

Candidates applying for enrollment as part-time students, in addition to the above documents, also submit an employment contract or a medical certificate.

Domestic or foreign citizens who have completed their education abroad should have their secondary or higher education documents validated in

 

The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Macedonia or to submit proof that they have submitted documents for nostrification.

Upon enrollment, admitted candidates submit:

1. two photographs (3x4 cm);

2. proof of paid study funds. Registration can also be done electronically.

Application documents are submitted at the premises of the University of Skopje - Skopje, located on Boulevard Partizanski Odredi number 99, 1,000 Skopje, or at the facilities of the dispersed offices of the University.
